2. The Directorate ensures a transversal function for all AFI's logistics activites, It:

• Manages an operational logistics common to all the activities : transport,
  
• Reception, customer logistics support, common component management.
  
• Defines logistics procedures and inspects their application
  
• Measures the results of performance and logistics costs
  
• Ensures the staff's logistics competence (branch management, training)
  
• Organizes transverse permanent progress actions.
