There is growing acceptance that effective aircraft maintenance is dependant on an efficient and cost effective supply chain. It has never been more important to ensure that the supply chain is as effective as possible and that costs are effectively controlled.

AMP has been providing supply chain training for 7 years through open and in-house courses. The aim has been to improve the level of skills within the supply chain so that the effectiveness of the support provided to aircraft maintenance organizations is improved. Training also covers the control of materials costs and obtaining best value for money.

AMP recognizes that getting the best from the supply chain is highly dependant on other departments and training has been designed to be of value to maintenance, engineering and finance specialists as well as for staff already employed within the supply chain.
